Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit the IuvatSoft website or write to us, what we use it for, and the rights you have. It's written to be read: no fine print, no runarounds.

1. Who is responsible

IuvatSoft LLC ("IuvatSoft", "we") is the data controller for the information collected through this website, in both its English and Spanish versions.

2. What data we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), estimated budget and the message you write. It is only sent when you click "Send message" after accepting this policy.
  • Site preferences: the language and theme (light/dark) you choose are stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage). These values never leave your device and cannot identify you.
  • Technical logs: like any website, our hosting provider may record IP addresses and basic browser data in server logs, for security and operation.

What we don't do: this site uses no tracking cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no profiling. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, and we will not use it to send you unsolicited marketing.

3. What we use your data for, and on what legal basis

  • Replying to your inquiry and preparing a quote. Legal basis (GDPR): steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b) and your consent when ticking the form checkbox (art. 6.1.a).
  • Keeping up the subsequent correspondence about your project. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in managing the business relationship (art. 6.1.f).

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; we will stop processing your data unless another legal basis requires us to keep it.

4. Who we share it with

Only with the providers strictly needed for the site and the contact flow to work:

  • Formspree, Inc. (USA) — processes the contact form submission and forwards it to us. Their privacy policy.
  • Google LLC (USA) — we receive messages in a Gmail inbox. The site's fonts are also loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser transmits your IP address to Google when the page loads. Their privacy policy.
  • Hosting provider — serves the pages and keeps technical access logs.

We share your data with no one else, unless legally required to (for example, a valid court order).

5. International transfers

The providers above process data in the United States. If you visit us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these transfers rely on the legal mechanisms in force: the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification where the provider holds it and, otherwise, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact messages for as long as the conversation lasts and at most 24 months after the last exchange, in case you pick the project back up. If you hire us, your data becomes governed by the contract and the applicable tax obligations. You can request early deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

  • Access your data and get a copy.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Have it erased ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to the processing.
  • Portability: receive it in a structured format.
  • Withdraw consent, without affecting prior processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

If you are in the United States

If you reside in California (CCPA/CPRA) or another state with an equivalent privacy law (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, among others), you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information as defined by those laws, so no opt-out mechanism is needed.

To exercise any right, write to iuvatsoft@gmail.com from the address you used to contact us. We respond within the legal deadlines (30 days in the EU, 45 in California, extendable where the law allows).

8. Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies. We only use the browser's local storage for two functional preferences: language (iuvat-lang) and visual theme (iuvat-theme). They contain no personal data, are never transmitted to any server, and you can delete them at any time from your browser settings. Being strictly functional, they do not require a consent banner.

9. Children

This site is aimed at businesses and professionals, not at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy — for example, by adding analytics or new providers — we will publish the updated version here with a new date. Material changes will not apply retroactively to data already collected without your consent.
